Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and dedication to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services during an engagement using the agency's senior administrators in a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% of the registered pupils from the schooling sector.
